Short Autumn Breaks and Special Offers in the Scottish Borders, Southern Scotland

Autumn is a beautiful time of year in the Scottish Borders. As the leaves turn to rich hues of gold and red, and the crisp autumn sunshine illuminates an ever changing canvas of green and yellow grasses and purple heather, it's a great place for a late Autumn break, and we have some very special low prices for stays of two or more nights.

By offering a substantial breakfast, a wholesome home-cooked dinner and a tea room that offers lunches throughout the day, and a delicious hot chocolate to revive you after a day in the hills, the Glenholm Guest House can provide everything you need throughout your stay. We can even provide packed lunches.

As soon as you enter the glen you can leave the rest of the world behind you, and once you've park your car you needn't use it again until you leave. And if you enjoy a glass of wine or a local beer with your meal, then we have a small bar that can offer that too.

The 2-day rates can be pro-rated up to cover stays of more than two days again for half-board accommodation where the room or suite is shared.

Any stay of seven days or more (including single and bed and breakast accommodation) automatically qualifies for a 10% discount on the normal full prices quoted under Rates above.

Finally where four adults (or four people paying the adult rate) share the cottage a 10% discount is applied to the normal full prices again quoted under Rates.

Recommend to a Friend

If you have stayed with us before, then this is an opportunity to introduce someone else to Glenholm and qualify for a prize draw in which somebody will win one night's dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation for two people with us.

If you haven't been here before but have decided to stay with us on the recommendation of a friend then you have the same opportunity. In fact the winning ticket is a combination of the two. Both the person recommending us and the one visiting us for the first time will win the same prize.

Feel free to print the prize draw ticket, and bring it with you when you stay, ensuring that the left panel contains the details of the recommender, and the right panel contains the details of the new guest.

Of course the recommender may make as many recommendations as they would like and each will qualify for a separate entry into the draw.

The small print: the person commended to stay at Glenholm stays for a minimum of one night bed and breakfast for one person; they should not have stayed with us before; and the booking has to be taken up before the 15th December 2008. The prize can be redeemed any time in 2009.
